Key Admin Points

1. No High Muzzle Energy Firearms / S5 to be used on this practice or tracer ammunition.

2. Firearms must only be un-bagged on the firing point and must not be handled in the carpark / club house so please have you serial numbers to hand for the firearms you propose to use hence the request to have your certificates to hand at registration. There are no fumble zones on the range.

3. Responsibility for the serviceability of all firearms and ammunition is the responsibility of the individual. Two (max) hard extractions / stoppages / misfires will result in the shooter being required to retire the firearm from the point and for it not to be used for the remainder of the practice.

4. All vehicles other than those of the range team will be parked on the main car park or by A Range if we use this facility. Range roads are generally not suitable for some vehicles so be prepared to move kit on foot if necessary and help each other out as needed.

5. Please read the attached safety brief / aide memoir prior to attending and note the variations to the instructions above. A safety brief and opportunity to ask questions will happen at 0915hrs.

6. NRA range qualifications do not apply on Diggle Ranges. Only PSSA accredited RCO’s may conduct firing practices.

7. Diggle Ranges are very exposed so please ensure you have suitable wet / warm kit for the day and a flask is a great idea especially when on Butts duty.

8. Probationary PSA members / PSA guests are not to attend.

9. Shooters should let the RCO know if they want to leave the firing point so we know where people are at all times.

 Facilities

There are onsite welfare / kitchen facilities with hot and cold water provision.

The ranges we are likely to use have covered firing points and have shooting benches and chairs.
