300 yards B range. 3 target lanes booked  from 1230 hrs to 1530hrs.
Please show your identity with mod range pass or Grange member /guest identity card at guardroom security along with vehicle registration.  Alternative identity is photo driving licence.
(They do not accept scc cards or firearms certificates as proof of identity.)
Your name will be on the check sheet at the security barrier guardroom as I email these 3 days prior to shoot.
1115hrs at security barrier to sign in.  I will be at security barrier to ensure everyone gets in ok.  Then proceed and meet in main range office carpark for 1130hrs.
CCTV is in use at altcar and covers all roads and car parks. Do not park out of a white line bay and definately not on grass.
Ammunition available at range cash only no cheques or card .
Range Fee £8.50 for non GRPC members.
SCC cards…..remember to bring them or you will need supervision. The ground at Altcar is quite flooded 6 inch deep in places, so waterproof boots strongly advised.
We will have approc 30 mins shoot time for each person.
General practice shoot then 10min at end each detail for a bit of a challenge target shoot.

This is the sample style target for the friendly 300 yard shoot on 17th march. it’s an easter egg munching pacman. The main 300 yard target will be masked out using white A3 paper. It will be masked down wind. Score as high as possible with 5 shots without getting shot blown into the white. Scores 6,5,4,3,2 or in the white -10. A lesson to read the wind and understand ones scope and adjustments. Bipod or front rest are permitted. Can be shot off elbows as well if desired slings and straps are allowed… No rear bag, rear pods or rear rests allowed….just shoulder and a supporting hand.
