The Meeting on 10th November

Firstly, we’d like to thank everyone who came to the meeting last night, as well as all of those members who couldn’t come because we were oversubscribed and those who let us know that they couldn’t come.

From this, we now have a lot of information and suggestions you gave us  to work through, but now things are beginning to “gel.”

Matters seems to have resolved into four areas

  1. ‘Political’  dealing with the appalling way the MoD treated us, as well as attempting to get Sealand re-opened if possible
  2. Shooting at Altcar ranges
  3. Shooting at Wern Ddu
  4. Shooting at other venues.

[We have now largely sorted out The matter of licenses, Home Office Approval, Police arrangements etc etc has, so there is no need to contact your Firearms Licensing Department to have your FAC changed in any way.]

We will have three working groups to help us in the first 3 matters, and we will take on the last.  Thankfully we have members who have particular expertise in each of these areas.

We were amazed by the enthusiasm (and determination) of everyone at this difficult time, and again, we are VERY grateful for the messages of support and help.

There is still much to do – we’ll get on with it.
