DESCRIPTION:NB:  FRIDAY.\nOur bid for this date has been granted subject to the usual caveat about military units having precedence\, although this should be unlikely. As usual if you need any equipment or ammunition\, please let us know beforehand so that we can bring it along. Nowadays it’s important that we have a fair idea of the numbers attending\, as we have to let The MoD know this in advance. It also helps us to work out the number of target lanes\, and therefore the number of butts markers per detail. \nA BIG “thank you” to all those who volunteer to do butts\, RO and lookout duties !

SUMMARY:Saturday 9th December 2023 Sealand A range ----- CANCELLED DUE TO  "FLOODING"  !!!
DESCRIPTION:We are more than a little disapointed and annoyed about this\, as I know you are\, but It seems that the MoD have a better form of weather forecasting than the rest of the world\, so they know that there will be flooding at Sealand in two weeks time. \nI am typing this at 11:30 on Friday 24th November – the day that we would have been shooting there – but we KNOW that there are no floods at Sealand today. \nWe are not the only ones to be cancelled\, and we have taken the matter up with Landmarc who run the ranges for the MoD\, and who will be losing money due to these cancellations. \nExactly what the truth is\, I have no idea.  We have also asked the NRA if they can help. \n  \n
