Saturday July 8th 2023 – BRIMSTAGE – BARBECUE EVENT
There have been a number of requests for this sort of event to be held during the summer months, and (thanks to Alex!) we now have this date at Brimstage. There are a few things to be confirmed yet such as the menu (including vegetarian options, general format and so on) which we'll post here are soon as we know. Saturday work party
For those who have kindly volunteered to help - many thanks - we now have enough hands to the pumps! We'll give the clubroom a severe looking at (well, cleaning ...) try to fix the roof leak, paint and repair the backstop, clean and re-organise the range, and any other minor things that need doing.

Saturday 23rd September 2023 – Sealand A range CONFIRMEDCANCELLED
We are very sorry, but this was cancelled at the very last moment - 07:30 on the morning of the shoot. We e-mailed everyone, and tried to phone as many people as we could before we had to go to Sealand to catch those who may not have read their e-mails, or who we couldn't contact by phone in time.

Saturday 14th October 2023. Clay Shoot, Cotton Edmunds – The Keith Read-Duff trophy.
Our last shoot here of 2023, at which we'll have the competition for the annual Keith Read-Duff trophy. We will start the competition promptly, with about 1/2 for practice first. If you can let us know you'll be coming along it will help us, particularly if you need club equipment or ammunition. We are limited to numbers - so it will be a case of "first come, first served." FRIDAY – 24th November 2023 Sealand A range shoot – F….. CANCELLED !!!
We've JUST been informed by e-mail at 15:00 on 22nd November that our FRIDAY shoot at Sealand has been CANCELLED due to flooding. Apparently this is for our own safety - in case anyone drowns on the range....... Words HAVE failed me - (well, those that I can use in polite company, anyway.) Wed 6th December 2023 Our Annual C H R I S T M A S Gathering and Prizegiving

We are more than a little disapointed and annoyed about this, as I know you are, but It seems that the MoD have a better form of weather forecasting than the rest of the world, so they know that there will be flooding at Sealand in two weeks time. I am typing this at 11:30 on Friday 24th November - the day that we would have been shooting there - but we KNOW that there are no floods at Sealand…

The weather has not been our friend ! The recent rain, sleet and snow has waterlogged the field, and the very last thing we want is to cause any damage, so we have to cancel this shoot - sorry!
